Jackson, TN – For the 63rd year, the Madison County 4-H Chicken Shack will be back in business this year from September 9 through September 13.
Despite the West TN State Fair moving to a different county, the Chicken Shack will still take place here in Madison County at the Jackson Fairgrounds.
The Chicken Shack will offer a mouthwatering menu featuring half chickens, tender ribs, and delicious pork chops. The 4-H Chicken Shack is open to the public with no admission fee required. All proceeds will help support educational programs for local students in agriculture and family and consumer sciences. Don’t miss your chance to savor these crowd favorite foods and support the next generation of Madison County leaders.

About Madison County 4-H
4-H empowers young people to reach their full potential. It enables Tennessee’s youth to emerge as leaders through hands-on learning, research-based 4-H youth programs, and adult mentorship to give back to their local communities.
In Madison County, 4-H programming is conducted primarily through school-based clubs and individual project work. However, clubs are available county-wide for those who do not have access to 4-H in their school. There is also a club for those youth who are home-schooled.
