I’ve received numerous calls today regarding the fire in North Madison County. I’m relieved to share that the fire has been successfully extinguished.
A huge thank you to the Madison County Fire Rescue team for their incredible efforts. Please keep our dedicated firefighters in your thoughts and prayers, as some have experienced smoke inhalation and heat exhaustion while working tirelessly to contain the blaze.
Thankfully, there were no serious injuries.
The fire occurred in an area containing scrap materials, tires, rubber, and other items.
Many thanks to other first responders to contain the area during this incident, as well. Madison County Sheriff’s Office, City of Jackson, TN – Police Department, and others.
