Electronic systems at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital experienced a temporary interruption, Thursday.
Amy Garner, Chief Compliance & Communications Officer, issued the following statement –
“We had a temporary interruption in some of our electronic systems, but downtime (paper and manual) procedures were immediately implemented.
“Patient safety and quality care were a priority at all times. Staff are regularly trained and policies and procedures are in place to ensure continuity of care during events where technology is not available.”
