BROWNSVILLE, Tenn. – According to Brownsvilleradio.com, two teenagers were shot in Brownsville, around 9 p.m., Tuesday.

Both, so far, have survived their wounds. Police have not said how seriously either is hurt.

The shooting remains under investigation according to Brownsville Police Chief Barry Diebold.

The gunshots rang out on Farmdale Cove, a dead end street located on the west side of town off Country Lane. In addition to the two young men who were struck by bullets, several cars were hit, too.

One of the teens was taken by ambulance to Jackson, the other was flown to a Memphis hospital by air ambulance.

It’s unclear how many shooters were involved but no one has been arrested. Chief Diebold has put out a request for information, especially for anyone who lives in the area that might have home security video that could provide clues.
