Trinity Christian Academy’s Harrison Freeman, a senior first baseman and pitcher signed with Middle Tennessee State University during a ceremony at TCA, today.
Harrison Freeman is 6-2 and weighs 215 pounds.
According to Perfect Game, Freeman has a large frame with an already filling out build showing strength throughout the frame. Sturdy lower half and broad shoulders.
He ran a 7.44 second 60-yard dash. Primary First Baseman, athletic in his actions working to and through the baseball.
Clean gather out front as he is confident with the glove. Whip to the arm as he was accurate to the bag. Great footwork turning two and projects nicely at the position.
Secondary Left-Handed Pitcher, working with a small side-step to a belt high lift while compact in his actions. Shorter arm action and then released from a three-quarter slot.
Did a nice job of staying online to the dish. Fastball showing some arm side run as he ran it up to 83 mph. Mixed in a sweeping slider as well that got some knee buckles as it kept hitters off-balance. Stayed down in the zone and proved to have some pitchability.
Left-Handed Hitter, starting narrow and upright as the hands gets deep upon separation. Very strong hands as he generates big time whip through the zone. Proved he can impact the baseball out front as he is a legit power threat. Great Student. Named to Gulf Coast Top Prospect List.
