From the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation –

At this point, there is no indication that any of the Troopers involved fired weapons. However, the driver involved in the pursuit and crash sustained, what appears at this time to be, a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The TBI’s investigation remains active and ongoing.
