The 10 Solid Waste Convenience Center sites in Madison County will close one hour early during the winter months.

All convenience centers will close at 5 p.m. during November, December, and January. The change takes effect November 1, 2018.

“We do this during the time change for the safety of citizens and attendants,” Environmental Health Program Director Candy Overstreet said.

All sites will be closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
