TAG Truck Center – parts, sales, and service – has opened a new service center at 3655 Ridgecrest Road Extended.
With 64 employees, the 99,000-square-foot facility opened Dec. 4, 2023, after TAG relocated from 112 E.L. Morgan Drive.
Visible from Interstate 40, TAG sells Freightliner and Western Star.
Freightliner Trucks is a U.S. semi-truck manufacturer. Founded in 1929 as the truck-manufacturing division of Consolidated Freightways (from which it derives its name), the company was established in 1942 as Freightliner Corporation.
Owned by Daimler AG from 1981 to 2021, Freightliner is now a part of Daimler Truck subsidiary Daimler Truck North America – along with Western Star, Detroit Diesel, and Thomas Built Buses.
Western Star is an American truck manufacturer headquartered in Portland, Oregon, and a subsidiary of Daimler Truck North America, which is an independent subsidiary of the multinational Daimler Truck. Western Star trucks are commonly sold at Freightliner dealerships.
TAG offers 12 dealerships across Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, and New Mexico, with a huge inventory of new and used trucks, and trailers.
If your truck needs service, TAG has an experienced staff of factory-trained, certified technicians.
TAG dealerships are stocked with well-known, top-quality, brand-name parts that include Alliance, Meritor, Eaton, Fuller, Bendix, Detroit, Cat and Cummins.
