From the Jackson Police Department –

On Monday, May 8, officers with the Jackson Police Department responded to the 800 Block of Vann Drive (Wendy’s, 873 Vann Drive) for an individual wanted on felony warrants out of Selmer.

Upon arrival, officers attempted to make contact with the suspect, who attempted to flee the scene, intentionally striking an officer’s patrol car and another vehicle.

During that time, an officer discharged his weapon. The suspect was apprehended without injury and taken into custody.

This is an ongoing investigation.
