JACKSON Tenn (May 1, 2015) – Police have charged Desmeon Porter with multiple drug and other charges.

According to court records, on Thursday, afternoon two Jackson Police officers went to 816 Lambuth Blvd., Apt. 208 in Jackson to serve multiple restaurants on Mr. Porter

Officers say that upon arrival they observed the suspect open his front door then flee back inside after he saw officers

Police say they identified themselves as police officers but that Porter continued to flee to the back bedroom of his apartment

Officers placed Porter into custody and a search produced marijuana and cocaine

Porter is also charged with criminal impersonation and evading arrest Porter initially gave police a false name.

He is being held in Madison County jail in lieu of bond.
