(July 10, 2013) Jackson, Tenn.- The Jackson Municipal Regional Planning Commission changed the text of a zoning code at their meeting on Wednesday.
The commission added a use to the I-0 zone. Under and amendment passed today, light manufacturing is now allowed under the usage.
The I-0 zone is used for wholesale and warehousing. Previously, if someone wanted to do light manufacturing, they had to operate under a second zone. The light manufacturing definition is found under the I-2 zone.
The Grove Partners were approved their preliminary plat at the meeting. They intend to construct the subdivision The Grove at Matthews Creek. It will be a gated community next to Grand Haven.
S & J Partners III had their construction plat for Wyndchase Subdivision Section 17 approved.
