MADISON Co, Tenn. (April 23, 2015) Students from Northeast Middle School are giving back to the community.
On Thursday students presented boxes of personal hygiene items they collected for the Area Relief Ministry organization.
The student lead project took the students about a month and a half. The goal was to collect personal hygiene items and donate them to the homeless. Students made flyers and posters to handout about the project. Donations were collected.
The students worked together to package the donations. According to the school director, approximately 200 lbs of items were collected.
