Following the Sept. 1, 2020 incident at Dyersburg High School, the Dyersburg Police Department released the following.
The Dyersburg Police Department SRO assigned to the Dyersburg High School charged a juvenile with disorderly conduct on an officer following an incident this morning at the school.
The juvenile was tased by the officer, and per Dyersburg Police protocol, EMS was called to the scene to check the juvenile.
The juvenile was placed in the McDowell Center for Children by Dyer County Juvenile Court, pending court action.
