KAY Jewelers leaves Old Hickory Mall for Vann Drive

JACKSON, TN — KAY Jewelers is relocating from Old Hickory Mall to a premier retail position at 1130 Vann Drive in The Columns of Jackson, further strengthening the Vann Drive corridor as Jackson’s dominant retail destination.

The move was facilitated by Stan Clampitt and Heather Witherspoon of Buchanan Realty Group, who both played a key role in positioning the retailer for increased visibility, stronger traffic counts, and long-term growth in one of West Tennessee’s most active commercial corridors.

The relocation marks a strategic upgrade for Kay Jewelers, transitioning from an enclosed mall setting to a high-profile, power-center environment along Vann Drive — a corridor widely recognized as the retail epicenter of Jackson.

“Vann Drive continues to outperform other retail corridors in the region,” said Witherspoon. “This move places Kay Jewelers in a stronger position for accessibility, exposure, and sustained performance. We’re proud to help national retailers make strategic decisions that align with long-term market trends.”

The Columns of Jackson offers strong co-tenancy, excellent ingress and egress, and proximity to major national retailers, making it a premier destination for both shoppers and brands seeking high-visibility locations.

KAY Jewelers, is owned by Signet Jewelers Ltd. — one of the largest jewelry retailers in the United States — a well-known retail destination offering a wide selection of engagement rings, wedding bands, fashion jewelry, watches, and related services such as engraving and jewelry repair.
