Publishing company building new facility in Jackson

A publishing company for physical and online books – Fortify Your Faith Foundation – is under construction at 3044 Bells Highway.

Jared Jackson, who serves as president said the company was founded in 2002, and is relocating to Jackson from Stockton, California.

“We had roots in Tennessee, and we see this as a better family, business environment,” Jared Jackson said.

MG Construction Company is building the 5,000-square-foot facilty, with a completion date set for spring, 2021.

Starbucks closes – temporarily – on North Highland Avenue

It’s temporary, but Starbucks, 2034 North Highland Avenue, has closed.

Management could not confirm a date, but the restaurant is scheduled to reopen next week.

Starbucks inside Courtyard by Marriott, 200 Campbell Oaks Drive, is temporarily closed

An opening date has not been announced, but Starbucks is scheduled to open its newest restaurant at 2851 Christmasville Cove in Park Place West.

China Pan Buffet & Grill closes in Towne Centre North

China Pan Buffet & Grill, 8 Stonebridge Blvd., has closed permanently.

Located in Towne Centre North, the 5,612-square-foot facility is available for lease through Hickman Realty Company.

Rainey Kizer Reviere & Bell, PLC challenge gift benefits Therapy & Learning Center Christmas Angel Fund

Jackson, Tennessee – The Foundation is pleased to announce a challenge gift to benefit the Therapy and Learning Center Christmas Angel fund at the Foundation. As with many businesses, annual Christmas parties are being cancelled due to COVID-19 concerns.

At a recent meeting of the Board of Directors, Rainey Kizer Reviere & Bell, PLC, the annual attorney Christmas party was canceled while the funds budgeted for the holiday event would be given to a charity in the employees’ names. The Board agreed to provide Christmas gifts for the children and adults being served by the Therapy & Learning Center.

“Our annual attorney Christmas party will be missed, but this year we will be able to make Christmas better for those clients of the Therapy & Learning Center,” stated Dale Thomas, Chair of the Board of Directors of Rainey Reviere Kizer and Bell, “We want to challenge other law firms and businesses to do the same by donating their budgeted funds for Christmas parties to benefit charitable causes like the Foundation and the Therapy and Learning Center.”

The Therapy and Leaning Center has deep roots in Jackson that served generations of families. Having roots that go back to the Cerebral Palsy Center and the Kiwanis Center, the transition began in 1998 to become the Therapy & Learning Center.

The Therapy & Learning Center helps individuals with various abilities celebrate and develop their unique gifts. Efforts are directed at meeting the individualized needs of children and adults during therapy, learning, and care as they provide a comprehensive approach to therapy.

“Families with children that have unique needs can be financially devastating. It is nice to have supporters like the attorneys at Rainey Kizer Reviere & Bell helping us. Their donation will help us provide these clients with a more normal Christmas,” stated Ron Kwasigroh, Director of the Therapy & Learning Center.

Business Spotlight – Kim Holt joins Town & Country REALTORS

Town & Country REALTORS is pleased to welcome Kim Holt to the team.

According to a press release from Amanda McKinley – B3 Creative Agency – Public Relations & Communication Specialist – Kim is a native of Trenton, who comes to Town & Country from a long career in social work and education.
