WesTN Bank sets opening date for new financial center on Exeter Road

West Tennessee Bank (WesTN Bank), a division of Decatur County Bank, which opened its first branch in Jackson, July 18, 2018, at 1270 Union University Drive, is scheduled to open a new facilty at 92 Exeter Road in Thomsen Farms in mid-November.

Business hours at the 9,000-square-foot bank will be 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Fridays.

Established in 1899, Decatur County Bank was the first bank in Decatur County.

West Tennessee Bank was established in 2010, and opened a temporary office in the Honeye Plaza in Henderson before moving into its permanent location at 1007 U.S. Highway 45 North.

The bank also has locations in Decaturville and Parsons.

Business Spotlight – Allexus Boyd joins Ragan Realty Group

Allexus Boyd is the newest member of Ragan Realty Group.

According to a press release, Allexus, who was originally born in Jackson, has also lived in Atlanta, Memphis, and Nashville.

Allexus worked at a local furniture store for six years where she was a Certified Interior Decorator.

She has always loved the atmosphere of helping clients decorate and furnish their homes, but she always wanted to be on the other side of it!

Allexus wants to help people find their forever homes, their first homes, or even investment properties. When she is not chasing her two year old, she is normally trying to get her husband, Tyler Boyd, to help with a DIY project or work on a decorating plan. Allexus has studied the local housing markets for five years and is eager to start her career in real estate.

Construction continues on new 12,000-square-foot facility in Thomsen Farms

A completion date has not been announced, but the newest addition at Thomsen Farms – a 12,000-square-foot mixed use development at 1296 Union University Drive – remains under construction.

Ann-Marie Kelley, executive vice president, FirstChoice Property & Development said the units available for lease will range from 1,200- to 3,500-square-feet.
