The Summit – new residential community offers ‘alternative to traditional leasing options’ in Jackson
JACKSON, TN – ZEKO Properties, LLC. is pleased to announce The Summit Jackson, a 150-acre master-planned development located at 4200 North Highland Ave., at the junction of the U.S. Highway 45 Bypass and North Highland Avenue in Jackson and Madison County, TN.
According to a press release from SL Pemberton – Chief Operating Officer of Summit Management Group – The Summit Jackson development was approved in the Spring of 2021, by the City of Jackson.
This was the final approval for the proposed $170 million single family home, gated rental community.
The Summit Jackson development is a residential rental community which will include 260 homes during the first phase of development and 500 when completed. There will be several amenities included in the space such as walking trails, dog park, pickleball courts, and 23 acres of green space.

Commercial property in Park Place East sells for $1.3 million
The property that is home to Arby’s restaurant, 219 Parkstone Place in Park Place East, has been sold.
TRM 11 LLC purchased the property, which includes the 2,400-square-foot restaurant located on .73 acres, from BRG Development – Brandon Buchanan – for $1,365,000.
The location is one of four Arby’s has in Jackson.
Besides 219 Parkstone Place East, Arby’s is also located at 601 Old Hickory Blvd., 208 Stonebrook Place, and 1984 South Highland Avenue.
The South Highland location open January 31, 2022.
Less than five weeks later, Lucky’s Pizza Huts LLC, purchased the property from BC North Partners for $1,555,555.
Construction continues on new WoodSpring Suites hotel in Park Place West
Construction continues on WoodSpring Suites,19 Bink Drive – 2939 Ridgecrest Road Extended – in Park Place West.
Located on 2.46 acres, the 13,120-square-foot hotel will offer 142 rooms and 131 parking spaces.
According to its website, WoodSpring Suites offers –

Pet-friendly and smoke-free accommodations
Fitness centers at select hotels
DI Construction, LLC from Atlanta is building the hotel.

West Tennessee Healthcare – Demondis Morgan named employee of the month
Demondis Morgan, also known as ‘D’ has been named the West Tennessee Healthcare employee of the month for September.
Tim Adams, a vice president with West Tennessee Healthcare, and Mike Williams, director, safety & security made the presentation when the West Tennessee Healthcare Board of Trustees held their monthly meeting at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital, Tuesday.
Demondis, who has with West Tennessee Healthcare for over nine years works in security and is well known for being calm and for successfully de-escalating situations on campus.
West Tennessee Healthcare appreciates him and its security team for keeping the campus safe!
Starbucks in the heart of Jackson
The signs are up, the parking lot is paved and the citizens of Jackson are anticipating the opening of the newest Starbucks Coffee in downtown Jackson.
The solo entrance and exit of the coffee shop will be located on W Lafayette Street, keeping traffic off North Highland Avenue.
Customers will enter the parking lot and turn left into the drive thru, circling the parking lot and exiting the same way they entered.
The Starbucks features an outdoor patio space and large windows to create a “Jackson Walk” look.
The popular chain coffee shop is set to open during the month of October, and will be the eighth in Jackson.
Lambuth Flats apartment complex sells for $1.2 million
Lambuth Flats, which consists of 16, one-bedroom apartments, has been sold.
Located across the street from the University of Memphis Lambuth at 816 Lambuth Blvd., Sunnyview Capital LLC sold the property to TenCap LLC for $1,200,000.
Each apartment, which offers 490-square-feet, has been completely remodeled and includes a range, washer, and dryer.
