The STAR Center invites you to recognize an unsung hero in the community and nominate a STAR Mom of the Year.

According to a press release from Cassidy Sheppard – Marketing and Events Manager – at the STAR Center, any woman who lives in West Tennessee, and is a mother to a child of any age with a disability is eligible for the Mom of the Year award.

Submit nominations at StarMomAward.com. The nomination process begins now through April 15, 2020.

The voting period will begin on April 20 through April 25.

The Inaugural STAR Mom of the Year Award will be announced on May 3.

The STAR Center’s mission is to help any person with any disability to realize their potential.

Family is a large part in that process. The moms our employees meet each and every day are the backbones of their children’s success, the unsung heroes, the persistent advocate.

These moms never ask for anything in return.

A mother of a child with a disability exemplifies so many outstanding characteristics, but for this
process we ask the nominator to focus on how the mom is patient, courageous, and selfless.
