JACKSON TN – Investigators from the Jackson-Madison County Metro Narcotics Unit were following up on information of Marijuana distribution at 343 Doak Mason Road in the Spring Creek community of Madison County. Investigators went to the residence and made contact with Brian Neu who lives there with his wife. As the officers were talking to Neu they discovered probable cause and obtained a search warrant for the premises.
The search of the residence revealed approximately 472.2 grams (1-pound) of high grade Marijuana referred to as “kush”, marijuana growing equipment, drug packaging materials and various other drug related paraphernalia as well as ledgers documenting different Marijuana strains and their sale prices.
Brian Neu was taken into custody and $908 in U.S. currency was seized under the civil forfeiture laws of the Tennessee Drug Control Act as they are believed to be the proceeds of drug sales. The drugs seized in this case have an estimated street value in excess of $3,000.
Brian Roger Neu, age 46, of 343 Doak Mason Road was charged with Manufacture of Marijuana, Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Sell or Distribute and Felony Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He is currently being held at the Madison County Criminal Justice Complex where he awaits arraignment in Madison County General Sessions Court.
