Arrangements for Clark Shaw this upcoming weekend. We are sorry this has taken us some time to announce, and we appreciate your patience as we have made plans that will honor the life of Clark.
A socially-distanced visitation will be held Saturday, December 5th, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Providence House in Casey Jones Village. The family will lay him to rest in a private graveside ceremony.
The Shaw family will not be in attendance during the visitation. Masks will be required and we are asking for any volunteers to help us with safely spacing the public throughout the line. We will have signage to direct traffic through the Village.
A virtual memorial will be held on Sunday, December 6th, in the afternoon. We are still finalizing the time and viewing options, but are hopeful for 3 p.m., and viewing on Channel 6 in Jackson and on Facebook for online streaming. More details will be released in the coming days.
Clark’s obituary will be available either Monday or Tuesday online and in print. The Shaw family encourages you to make a financial contribution in Clark’s name to the charity of your choice. If you wish to send flowers and/or cards, please send them to the Old Country Store by Friday, delivered to the cashier stand. Our staff will be able to care for them from that point.
