A winter storm warning remains in effect for Jackson and the surrounding area until 6 a.m., Tuesday.
The total accumulation of snow is expected to be 4 to 6 inches, but an area in Bemis, residents are reporting the total has reached approximately 5 inches.
Jackson is looking at a high of 18 degrees today, with a low of 9 degrees.
It doesn’t get any better, Tuesday – look for a high of 19 with a low of 7 degrees – before temperatures go above the freezing mark at 35 degrees, Wednesday.
