From the Jackson Police Department –

The Jackson Police Department continues an investigation into a robbery at the Old Hickory Mall, 2021 North Highland Avenue, on May 28.

At approximately 6 p.m., a robbery occurred at Kay Jewelers.

Employees and witnesses observed five- or six males in masks and dark clothing enter the business and smash several glass cases with hammers.

Approximately $200,000 in merchandise was stolen from the jewelry store.

Suspects fled the scene in an off-white Cadillac Escalade and a burgundy sedan.
