The year was 1917, and 106 years later, Simmons Shoe Store, a Humboldt icon has announced it is closing at 204 South 14th Avenue.
According to the company’s Facebook page –
All good things must come to an end. After 106 years, Simmons Shoe Store is closing its doors this fall. It’s been an honor to be part of this community for over a century.
