Simmons Bank sells former building in Greenfield

A former Simmons Bank property in Greenfield has been purchased by the City of Greenfield for $175,000.

Greenfield’s City Hall will move into the facility located at 302 North Front Street.

The sale of the property follows the sale of a Simmons Bank property at 213 South Church Street in Dyersburg, which sold in June.

David Fisher Realty & Auction Company purchased the property for $430,000, and has moved into the 7,600 square foot facility.

Simmons Bank, which maintains two locations in Dyersburg, had vacated the building which was a former home to Dyersburg State Bank, Union Planters Bank and First State Bank.

Simmons Bank has three locations in Jackson – 1862 U.S. Highway 45 Bypass, 1995 South Highland Avenue, and 480 Oil Well Road.

Eden Smith of Coldwell Banker Barnes in Jackson brokered brokered both transaction.
