JACKSON, Tenn. — A suspect faces Aggravated Assault charges after making threats and shooting at another man.

It happened on East Main Street in downtown.

According to the victim Richard Lyons started yelling threats at the man and then took out a handgun and fired at him.

Lyons has a 2003 conviction in a Robbery case when he was also charged with unlawful possession of a handgun.

Lyons is charged withaggravated assault. He is in custody in lieu of a $50,000 bond
