Shooting in North Jackson sends two to hospital
Jackson TN (December 28, 2019) A few minutes after 5:00 PM Jackson Police Dept responded to a call of shots fired at Sonic Drive-in on University Parkway.
Using security camera video officers determined that a shooting took place inside a pickup truck.
One person fled the truck. A shooting victim was located at the Circle K convenience store on North Highland
Jackson police officers found the pickup truck in a field on Demonbreun St near Northpark. A second shooting victim was located at that scene.
According to Jackson police chief Julian Wiser, neither of the shooting victims are from the Jackson area. The pickup truck has stolen plates. Narcotics and cash were discovered at the scene.

Details are limited, but two people have been taken to Jackson-Madison County General Hospital following a shooting in North Jackson, Saturday.
