Services set for Ryder Brooks Lewis

Ryder Brooks Lewis was born in Jackson, August 11, 2004 to Chris Lewis and Tracey Williams Lewis.

He was a student at Jackson Christian School and played Football and Basketball for the JCS Eagles.

Ryder loved to play Fortnite and spent many hours playing the game. Ryder loved the outdoors, loved hiking and camping, going to the beach, and was the best wakeboarder of the three Lewis boys.

He was good kid who loved life, loved his friends and lived life to the fullest.

He is survived by his parents, Chris Lewis and Tracey Williams Lewis; his two brothers, Clay Lewis and Gunnar Lewis; his maternal grandparents, Frank and Glenda Williams; his paternal grandparents, Brad and Peggy Lewis; his maternal uncles, Trent Williams and Troy Williams (Sarah); his paternal uncle, Andy Lewis (Katherine); and six cousins, Emma Williams, Thomas Williams, Brodie Williams, Sadie Williams, Weston Lewis, and Abby Lewis.

The family will receive friends and loved ones at a visitation which will be held Sunday July 1, from 12-to-2 p.m. in the Main Gymnasium at Jackson Christian School.

A celebration of Ryder’s life will be held at 2 p.m., at the Main Gymnasium of Jackson Christian School with Kenneth Grizzell leading the services.

In lieu of flowers and other thoughtful acknowledgements, the family has requested memorial gifts to be directed to the Ryder Lewis Memorial Fund at Jackson Christian School to honor Ryder’s legacy of friendship and leadership. Donations may be sent to Jackson Christian School, 832 Country Club Lane, Jackson, TN 38305 and designated for the Ryder Lewis Memorial Fund.
