Madison County Sheriff John Mehr, in conjunction with Bob Arrington, has released the details of the funeral services for Deputy Terry Dyer.

Deputy Dyer died suddenly Tuesday afternoon (April 20) while on duty in the General Sessions courtroom in Jackson.

Visitation will be held at Arrington Funeral Directors, 148 W. University Parkway, Saturday afternoon only from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., (April 24).

The funeral service will be at the West Jackson Baptist Church, 580 Oil Well Road, at 2 p.m., Sunday afternoon (April 25).

Sheriff Mehr said there will be a Law Enforcement procession from West Jackson Baptist to the Lexington City Cemetery, 249 Natchez Trace Drive, for the burial service.
