JMCSS News Alert: Safety protocols implemented at three JMCSS schools

Safety protocols were implemented at North Side, Liberty, and Northeast Middle earlier today. All students are safe and normal school activities will resume.

A small number of our schools implemented safety protocols this morning in response to a potential threat that was shared among mobile devices.

Local law enforcement agencies are working with our school system’s safety team to ensure our students and staff are safe. School leaders are instructed to treat digital threats with the same measure of caution as other threats.

The safety of our students and staff will remain a top priority for our district. All stakeholders are reminded to use good judgment when sharing digital content as this will assist with school climate and culture.
