Due to COVID-19, Jackson-Madison County public high schools – North Side, South Side and Liberty – will not play football for the first three weeks of the 2020 season.

The decision comes less than 24 hours after the Jackson-Madison County School System postponed the fall option for in-person classroom.

North Side games canceled – at Beech High School in Hendersonville; home vs. Haywood; at Hardin County

South Side games canceled – home vs. Ripley; USJ away; at Chester County

Liberty games canceled – at Millington; home vs. Milan; at Lexington
