ROAD BLOCKED: As of approximately 1 AM Wed 6/11/2025, all northbound and southbound lanes of S Highland Ave between 800 S Highland (Fairgrounds Park) and Martin Luther King Jr Dr are closed due to a wreck involving an 18-wheeler affecting all lanes of travel.
There are no power outages as a result of downed lights – not utility poles on South Highland Avenue.
Jackson Energy Authority has service vehicles at the scene assisting the City in the repair.
Utility lines & debris are currently across the road.
