Ryan Rolison, a 2016 graduate of the University School of Jackson, who played baseball collegiately at Ole Miss, made his fourth appearance for the Grand Junction Rockies in the Pioneer League, Sunday.

He pitched four innings and allowed only two hits, issued one walk and one run while striking out six batters.

Overall, Rolison has pitched 13.0 innings and has a 2.77 earned run average.

He has given up nine hits, walked three and recorded 17 strikeouts.

Rolison was selected with the 22nd pick overall in the first round of the 2018 MLB Draft by the Colorado Rockies, and pitches for the parent club’s Rookie League affiliate, the Grand Junction (Colorado) Rockies, in the Pioneer League.
