Ryan Rolison, a 2016 graduate of the University School of Jackson, plays for the Lancaster JetHawks, the Advanced High A affiliate of the Colorado Rockies of the California League.
Rolison, a left-handed pitcher, who played collegiately at Ole Miss, is 2-3 with an earned run average of 4.11 in 61.1 innings of work.
He has allowed 29 runs (28 earned), 56 hits, 18 walks and has struck out 68 hitters.
Rolison, who was selected to play in the June 18 California League All-Star Baseball game in San Bernardino, pitched one inning and struck out two of the three batters he faced.
Rolison began the 2019 season with the Asheville (N.C.) Tourists of the South Atlantic League.
He was 2-1 (0.69 ERA) in three starts with Asheville, where he worked 14.2 innings, struck out 14, and allowed eight hits and one earned run.
Rolison was selected 22nd overall by the Rockies in the 2018 MLB Draft.
