MEMPHIS, Tennessee — Ronald McDonald House Charities of Memphis hosted the 2024 McDonald’s “Round-Up for RMHC” Gift Presentation Feb. 6th at the RMHC-Memphis House. This event recognized the support of local McDonald’s restaurants, their management crew and the communities they serve.
The Round-Up for RMHC campaign was able to raise $861,634 for RMHC-Memphis in 2024, holding true to the partnership between McDonald’s and RMHC.
Furthermore, this involvement will allow RMHC-Memphis to expand its mission into Jackson, TN in 2025, serving the families of West Tennessee as their children undergo treatment and healing care at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. RMHC-Memphis in Jackson, TN will be located on the second floor of the new Hyatt Place Hotel being built at the corner of West Forrest Avenue and Lambuth Avenue.
Over 125 McDonald’s locations from across West Tennessee, Southeast Missouri, Northeast Arkansas and Northern Mississippi share the mission of RMHC-Memphis with customers through asking for support and advocating for families through the Round-Up for RMHC campaign.
“Today is a celebration of love from our McDonald’s restaurants, along with our customers who donated during our Round-Up for RMHC campaign,” said Alex Pina, owner of Pina Elite Restaurant Group. “We don’t just believe in the mission of the Ronald McDonald House, it is part of our story.”
When visiting a McDonald’s restaurant, anyone can help support families with sick children by choosing to Round-Up for RMHC when placing an order at the kiosk, counter or drive-thru. Spare change may also be dropped in any of the RMHC donation boxes in restaurant or drive-thru.
