JACKSON, Tennessee – The Jackson Rockabillys improved to 7-11 after taking their series finale from Burlington 12-5, before an announced crowd of 1,090 at The Ballpark at Jackson, Tuesday.
According to a press release from Grace White – public relations with the Rockabillys – Cade Davis got the start for the Goats, throwing three innings and surrendering four runs on five hits. Roman Smith came in for relief and struck out five in three innings of work.
The Rockabillys had eleven hits on the night and only left four players stranded on the bases. Griffin Cameron went three for four with three RBIs and Brandon Valdez went two for three with a triple.
Hayden Collins produced on both sides of the ball in the matchup. He went two for two at the plate with a double, an RBI, and two runs scored. He also pitched the last three innings for the Goats, allowing only one run and striking out five Bees hitters.
The Rockabillys have a day off today, Wednesday, June 21, before facing the Cape Catfish on Thursday, June 22, in what will be Throwback Thursday.
Fans will get to enjoy $2 prices on 16 oz. domestic beer, 16 oz. Coca-Cola products, hamburgers, and hotdogs.
The Goats play the Catfish on the road on Friday, June 23, and return home Saturday, June 24, to face the Thrillville Thrillbillies.
Typsy Gypsy, the second Extra Innings Band of the summer, will present a concert following the game.
