District 47

 

BENTON COUNTY

 

I-40 at Exit 126 – The grading, drainage, and paving on I-40 at the US-641 (SR-69) interchange (Exit 126) will cause temporary lane closures throughout the project.

 

BENTON COUNTY

 

SR-1 (US70) – The grading, drainage, and paving on SR-1 (US 70) from the Camden Bypass to the Tennessee River will cause temporary lane closures throughout the project.

 

CARROLL COUNTY

 

SR-1 (US 70) – The Resurfacing on SR-1 (US 70) from near Rutherford Fork Obion River to SR22 includes all directions of Huntingdon Square) will cause temporary nightly and daily lane closures throughout the project for milling and paving.

 

CARROLL COUNTY

 

SR-76 (US-79) – The grading, drainage, noise walls, signals and paving on U.S. 79 (S.R. 76) from near S.R. 77 to near Cutlip Lane will cause lane closures throughout the project.

 

Meadowbrook Lane is closed.

 

Cutlip Lane – Traffic was shifted to the new alignment from near Cutlip Lane to the Connector Road leading into Trezevant, speed limit reduced to 35 MPH. Traffic will proceed down the new alignment to an All Way Stop and then proceed onto Old US79 (SR76).

 

Dorsey Road is closed for utility realignment and road construction, weather permitting. Detour route will be delineated by signage.

 

Clay Farm Road is closed for utility realignment and road construction, weather permitting. Detour route will be provided along Newsome Road and will be delineated by signage.

 

Power Station Road is closed for road construction, and traffic will be detoured along US-70A/SR105 Main Street.

 

DYER COUNTY

 

SR-211 – The bridge over the North Fork Forked Deer River (just south of Dyersburg) will have outside lane closures for inspection and evaluation.

 

GIBSON/WEAKLEY COUNTY

 

SR-445 – The Resurfacing on SR445 from SR-105 in Gibson County to just over the Weakley County Line will cause temporary lane closures throughout the project.

 

HENRY COUNTY

 

SR-218 – The Resurfacing on SR218 from SR77 to SR76 will cause temporary lane closures throughout the project.

 

WEAKLEY COUNTY

 

SR-43 and US45E INTERCHANGE – The full depth repair of concrete ramps at the US 45E and SR43 interchange will cause temporary lane closures throughout the project.

 

Look Ahead (11/11-11/14/2025) – SR 43/Pair Road Interchange – The ramp from Pair Road to SR-43 will be closed from 11/11/2025 to 11/14/2025 to allow for drainage culvert and concrete roadway replacement.

 

District 48

 

CHESTER COUNTY

 

SR100 between E. Main Street and Baker Road

 

Crews are replacing 2 bridges on SR100 between E. Main Street and Baker Road. Please use caution throughout the area. There is a temporary traffic signal in place at the bridge over Dry Creek, east of Henderson.

 

Restrictions – Speed limit is reduced from 55 MPH to 45 MPH on SR100

 

CROCKETT COUNTY

 

SR88 in Bells, TN in relation to relocating SR76 around Picksweet

 

The following roads are closed in Bells, TN

·       Central Ave. (SR88) from High Street to Christian Ave Ext.

·       Central Avenue (SR88) west of the CSX Railroad

·       Weddle Street south of Mitchell Avenue

·       Hicks Street from High Street to south of existing Central Avenue (SR88)

A posted detour will be in place for SR88.

 

DECATUR COUNTY

 

U.S. 641 (S.R. 69) from near McCorkle Lane to Benton County line – The resurfacing on U.S. 641 (S.R. 69) from near McCorkle Lane (L.M. 31.50) to the Benton County line (L.M. 42.56), including bridge expansion joint repairs and thin epoxy overlay, will cause temporary lane closures in both directions. One lane will remain open at all times.

 

DECATUR COUNTY

 

SR-100 from the Henderson County line to Tillman Road/Shady Hill – The resurfacing on SR-100 from the Henderson County line to Tillman Road/Shady Hill Road will require lane closures during Scrub Seal application and resurfacing work.

 

HARDEMAN COUNTY

U.S. 64 (SR15) from Walton Road to Davis Way through Bolivar, TN – There will be lane closures daily for resurfacing work including bridge repairs.

 

HARDEMAN COUNTY

 

U.S. 64 from Davis Way to Lockwood Way – There will be daily lane closures for resurfacing work on U.S. 64 (S.R. 15) from Davis Way to Lockwood Way.

 

HARDIN COUNTY

 

SR128 from US64 (SR15) to near Clifton Road – There will be lane closures daily for resurfacing work including bridge repairs.

 

HARDIN COUNTY

 

US64 (SR15) from the Indian Creek Bridge to the Wayne County line – The resurfacing on U.S. 64 (SR-15) from the Indian Creek Bridge (L.M. 21.15) to the Wayne County line (L.M. 23.62), including bridge expansion joint repair and thin epoxy overlay will cause temporary lane closures in each direction of travel.

 

HARDIN COUNTY

 

SR142 (Kendrick Road) from SR57 to the Mississippi State line

Resurfacing work will cause daily lane closures from SR57 to the Mississippi State line.

 

HAYWOOD COUNTY

 

SR180 Near Jeffries Road to Raymond Akin Road – closed to through traffic

SR180 is closed to through traffic for crews to repair the bridge over Lost Creek just north of Nutbush, TN due to damage caused by the recent multi-day flood event.

SR222 from near proposed SR468 to near Camp Ground Road

The reconstruction and widening of SR222 from near proposed SR468 to near Camp Ground Road will cause traffic disruption daily. Please use caution through the area.

TDOT Region 4 On-Call Concrete Pavement Repair at the Haywood County Weigh Scales

Thursday, November 6, 8 p.m. – 6 a.m.

The right lane on westbound I-40 will be closed from MM 49 to MM 51 in Haywood County to perform concrete pavement repair. The THP weigh station on westbound I-40 at MM 50 will be closed. Weather Permitting.

 

Friday, November 7 at 8 p.m. through Monday, November 10 at 6 a.m.

S.R. 22A from Chester County line to Simpson Park Cove – The resurfacing on S.R. 22A from the Chester County line (L.M. 0.00) to near Simpson Park Cove (L.M. 9.63), including bridge expansion joint repair, will cause temporary lane closures in both directions. One lane will remain open at all times.

 

HENDERSON & DECATUR COUNTY

 

S.R. 201 in Henderson County from S.R. 104 to the Decatur County line – The resurfacing on S.R. 201 from S.R. 104 (L.M. 4.60) to the Decatur County line (L.M. 14.38), including repair work on bridge, will cause temporary lane closures in both directions. One lane will remain open at all times.

 

S.R. 201 in Decatur County from the Henderson County line to S.R. 202 – The resurfacing on S.R. 201 from the Henderson County line (L.M. 0.00) to S.R. 202 (L.M. 0.88) will cause temporary lane closures in both directions. One lane will remain open at all times.

 

MADISON COUNTY

 

I-40 – Lower Brownsville Road to South Fork Forked Deer River – The resurfacing on I-40 from near Lower Brownsville Road to the South Fork Forked Deer River, including thin epoxy overlay will cause temporary lane closures in both directions. One lane will remain open at all times.

 

Restrictions – Speed limit is reduced from 70 MPH to 60 MPH on I-40.

Continuing through Wednesday, November 12, 7PM-6AM – There are no schedule closures.

 

MADISON COUNTY

 

I-40 at S.R. 138 (EXIT 68) – The interchange improvements on I-40 at S.R. 138 (Exit 68) (L.M. 0.78 – L.M. 1.34), including grading, drainage, and paving will cause temporary lane closures in both directions. One lane will remain open at all times.

Restrictions – Speed limit is reduced from 70 MPH to 60 MPH on I-40.

Continues through Wednesday, November 12, 7PM-6AM – There will be one lane closed on I-40 east and westbound from MM69–MM68 for barrier rail removal, paving and striping. One lane will remain open at all times.

SR5 (U.S. 45) from the Mississippi State line to SR57 in Eastview, TN – The resurfacing on SR5 (U.S. 45) from the MS State line to SR57 including signal improvements at the intersection will cause daily lane closures.

 

MCNAIRY COUNTY

 

SR15 (U.S. 64) from the SR22 (LM 24.86) to Harward St. (LM 25.52) in Adamsville, TN

Resurfacing work will cause daily lane closures for milling and paving operations from the intersection of SR22 past Harward Street in Adamsville, TN.

 

District 49

 

FAYETTE COUNTY

 

SR-222 including the I-40 interchange (Exit 42) – Grading, drainage, signals, and paving on SR 222 from Hebron Drive to near Thorpe Drive, including the I-40 interchange (Exit 42), will cause temporary lane closures in both directions. One lane will remain open at all times.

Restrictions – Speed limit is reduced from 45 MPH to 40 MPH on S.R.222.

Continuing through Wednesday, November 12, 8PM-4:30AM – There will be intermittent lane closures on I-40 east and westbound in Fayette County from MM41-MM43, as well as ramp closures at Exit 42, for striping and pavement marking operations.

I-269 (SR-385) from near SR-86 (U.S. 72) to SR-57

Northbound I-269 (SR-385) will be reduced to one lane from SR-86 (U.S. 72) to SR-57 for bridge maintenance activities. At least one lane will remain open at all times.  The speed limit will be reduced from 65 mph to 55 mph through the work zone. There will be a 12’ lane width restriction over the I-269 North (SR-385 West) bridge at L.M. 1.23.

 

SHELBY COUNTY

 

I-55 Closure from Exit 12 (Crump/Riverside) to Exit 1 (Bridgeport Road) in Arkansas

Saturday, November 15 12 a.m. to Sunday, November 16 8 p.m. – I-55 Southbound will be CLOSED at Exit 1 (Bridgeport Road) in Arkansas for repairs on the Memphis-Arkansas Bridge. Motorists are encouraged to utilize I-40 over the Mississippi River.

 

Saturday, November 15, 12 a.m. to Tuesday, November 18, 6 p.m. – I-55 Northbound will be CLOSED at Exit 12 (Crump/Riverside) in Tennessee for repairs on the Memphis-Arkansas Bridge. Riverside Drive will be CLOSED at Exit 12 Roundabout. Motorists are encouraged to utilize I-40 over the Mississippi River. Detour will be signed.

 

SHELBY COUNTY

 

I-40 from Exit 18 (U.S. 64) to Exit 28 (SR-196)

Nightly – 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. – There will be intermittent temporary lane closures along Eastbound and Westbound I-40 for asphalt paving.

At least one lane in each direction will remain open at all times.

 

SHELBY COUNTY

 

I-240 from near SR-57 (Poplar Avenue) to near US-64 (US-70, SR-1 Summer Avenue)

Nightly 7 p.m. – 6 a.m. – There will be intermittent temporary lane closures for asphalt resurfacing activities. At least one lane in each direction to remain open at all times.

FAYETTE COUNTY

 

SR-193 from near SR-195 to SR-76 – There will be temporary lane closures on east and westbound SR 193 from near SR 195 to SR 76 DAILY to perform resurfacing work.

 

SHELBY COUNTY

 

SR-1 (U.S. 70, Summer Avenue) from near I-40 to North of Sycamore View Road

Daily – There will be temporary lane closures along Westbound and Eastbound SR-1 for roadway widening activities. Eastbound SR-1 will be reduced from two lanes to one lane beginning at the I-40 Frontage Road and ending East of Sycamore View Road Westbound SR-1 will be reduced from two lanes to one lane beginning near Munson Road and ending at the I-40 Frontage Road. Trucks will be entering and exiting the work zone along SR-1. Flaggers will be present for directing traffic as necessary. At least one lane in each direction will remain open at all times.

 

SHELBY COUNTY

 

SR 1 (U.S. 51) Danny Thomas Blvd from Poplar Avenue (L.M. 2.85) to Jackson Avenue (L.M. 3.47), Daily – 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. – There will be temporary lane closures for ADA ramp construction and Traffic Signal installations. One or more lanes will remain open in both directions on (U.S. 51) Danny Thomas Boulevard at all times.

 

SHELBY COUNTY

 

SR-57 (E. Poplar Avenue) from Fletcher Road to I-269 (SR-385):

Daily – There will be intermittent temporary lane closures along Eastbound and Westbound SR-57 for roadway widening activities. Flaggers will be present for directing traffic. At least one lane will remain open at all times.

 

TIPTON COUNTY

 

SR-54 from US-51 (SR-3) to the Haywood County line – There will be temporary lane closures on east and westbound SR 54 from US 51 to the Haywood County Line DAILY to perform resurfacing and bridge repair work.
