Road work schedule for West Tennessee counties

There will be possible DAYTIME or NIGHTTIME lane closures at various locations in Region 4 to make repairs or new installs on an as needed basis at various locations throughout the 21 counties.

 

District 47

 

 

BENTON COUNTY

 

 

I-40 at Exit 126 The grading, drainage, and paving on I-40 at the US-641 (SR-69) interchange (Exit 126) will cause temporary lane closures throughout the project.

 

 

BENTON COUNTY

 

SR-69 The Resurfacing on SR69 from the Decatur County line to James Walker Road will cause temporary lane closures throughout the project.

 

CARROLL COUNTY

 

SR-1 The Resurfacing on SR1 (US 70) from near Rutherford Fork Obion River to SR22 includes all directions of Huntingdon Square) will cause temporary nightly and daily lane closures throughout the project for milling and paving.

 

CARROLL COUNTY

 

SR-22 The intersection improvements on SR 22 and Clyde Road at the Huntingdon Industrial Park entrance will cause lane closures throughout the project.

 

SR-22 The intersection improvements on SR 22 and Lexington Street at the Huntingdon Industrial Park entrance serving Dynamix Casting Fluxes will cause lane closures throughout the project.

 

CARROLL COUNTY

 

SR-76 (US-79) The grading, drainage, noise walls, signals and paving on U.S. 79 (S.R. 76) from near S.R. 77 to near Cutlip Lane will cause lane closures throughout the project.

 

Dorsey Road is projected to close for utility realignment and road construction, weather permitting.  Detour route will be delineated by signage.

 

DYER COUNTY

 

SR-78 The Resurfacing on SR78 from near US 51 (SR3) to SR103 will cause temporary nightly and daily lane closures throughout the project for milling and paving.

 

GIBSON COUNTY

 

SR-420 The Resurfacing on SR420 from US 45W (SR 5) to SR 186 will cause temporary lane closures throughout the project.

 

HENRY COUNTY

 

SR-218 The Resurfacing on SR218 from SR77 to SR76 will cause temporary lane closures throughout the project.

 

OBION COUNTY

 

U.S. 51(SR3) The construction of turn lanes on U.S. 51 (S.R. 3) at Greenfield Drive/N. Morgan Street for State Industrial Access (SIA) support serving Williams Sausage HQ will cause an inside lane closure on U.S. 51(SR3) to thru traffic during construction. The cross-over at Greenfield Drive and N. Morgans Street will also be closed to thru traffic during construction. The Speed Limit is reduced from 50 mph to 40 mph on U.S. 51.

 

OBION COUNTY

 

U.S. 51(SR3), U.S. 45 (SR 5) Soil boring work will cause temporary lane closures on U.S 51 and U.S. 45 in South Fulton. This work will take place in the interchange of U.S. 51 and U.S. 45 and areas immediately adjacent to the interchange along these routes.

 

District 48

 

CHESTER COUNTY

 

SR100 between E. Main Street and Baker Road

 

Crews are replacing 2 bridges on SR100 between E. Main Street and Baker Road. Please use caution throughout the area. There is a temporary traffic signal in place at the bridge over Dry Creek, east of Henderson.

 

DECATUR COUNTY

 

SR20 (US 412) From SR69 (LM 3.59) to the Perry Co line (LM 9.14) in Parsons, TN – There will be lane closures daily for resurfacing work including bridge repairs.

 

HARDEMAN COUNTY

 

US64 (SR15) from Walton Road to Davis Way through Bolivar, TN – There will be lane closures daily for resurfacing work including bridge repairs.

 

HARDIN COUNTY

 

SR128 from US64 (SR15) to near Clifton Road – There will be lane closures daily for resurfacing work including bridge repairs.

 

HAYWOOD COUNTY

 

SR180 Near Jeffries Road to Raymond Akin Road – Closed to through traffic

 

SR180 is closed to through traffic for crews to repair the bridge over Lost Creek just north of Nutbush, TN due to damage caused by the recent multi-day flood event.

 

HAYWOOD COUNTY

 

SR222 from near proposed SR468 to near Camp Ground Road

 

The reconstruction and widening of SR222 from near proposed SR468 to near Camp Ground Road will cause traffic disruption daily. Please use caution through the area.

 

HENDERSON COUNTY

 

I-40 from S.R. 104 (Exit 101) to S.R. 22 (Exit 108) – The resurfacing on I-40 from near S.R. 104 to west of S.R. 22.

 

Restrictions – Speed limit is reduced from 70 MPH to 60 MPH on I-40.

 

Continuing through Wednesday, July 16, 7PM-6AM – There will be intermittent lane closures on I-40 east and westbound in Henderson County from MM101-MM108 for milling and paving operations.

HENDERSON COUNTY

 

S.R. 22 from Chester County line to Taylor Bailey Road – The resurfacing on S.R. 22 from the Chester County line (L.M. 0.00) to near Taylor Bailey Road (L.M. 8.98), including thin epoxy overlay on the bridge over Piney Creek will cause temporary lane closures in both directions. One lane will remain open at all times.

 

HENDERSON COUNTY

 

U.S. 412 (S.R. 20) from Madison County line to Crucifer Road – The resurfacing and miscellaneous safety improvements on U.S. 412 (S.R. 20) from the Madison County line (L.M. 0.00) to Crucifer Road (L.M. 4.33) will cause temporary lane closures in both directions. One lane will remain open at all times.

 

MADISON COUNTY

 

I-40 – Lower Brownsville Road to South Fork Forked Deer River – The resurfacing on I-40 from near Lower Brownsville Road to the South Fork Forked Deer River, including thin epoxy overlay will cause temporary lane closures in both directions. One lane will remain open at all times.

 

Restrictions – Speed limit is reduced from 70 MPH to 60 MPH on I-40

 

Continuing through Wednesday, July 16, 7PM-6AM – There will be intermittent lane closures on I-40 east and westbound in Madison County from MM74-MM78 for milling and paving operations.

MADISON COUNTY

 

I-40 at S.R. 138 (EXIT 68) – The interchange improvements on I-40 at S.R. 138 (Exit 68) (L.M. 0.78 – L.M. 1.34), including grading, drainage, and paving will cause temporary lane closures in both directions. One lane will remain open at all times.

 

Restrictions – Speed limit is reduced from 70 MPH to 60 MPH on I-40

 

Continuing through Wednesday, July 16, 7PM-6AM – There are no scheduled closures.

 

MADISON COUNTY

 

US412 (SR20) at Old Bells Road

 

There are inside lane closures both east and westbound at the intersection of US412 (SR20) and Old Bells Road. *Old Bells Road is also closed from US412 (SR20) to Bells Highway. A detour is posted.

 

MADISON COUNTY

 

SR186 at the intersection of US 45E

 

SR186 will be closed on July 15 and July 16 to replace a culvert.  It will be closed from the intersection of US 45E in Madison County to the intersection of SR152 in Gibson County.  A detour will be posted and signed. Message boards alert drivers.

 

District 49

 

FAYETTE COUNTY

 

SR-222 including the I-40 interchange (Exit 42) Grading, drainage, signals, and paving on SR 222 from Hebron Drive to near Thorpe Drive, including the I-40 interchange (Exit 42), will cause temporary lane closures in both directions. One lane will remain open at all times.

 

Restrictions – Speed limit is reduced from 45 MPH to 40 MPH on S.R.222

 

Continuing through Wednesday, July 16, 8PM-4:30AM – There are no scheduled closures.

 

LAUDERDALE COUNTY

 

SR-19 from US51(SR3) to the Haywood County line – There will be intermittent temporary lane closures controlled by Flagging operations along SR 19 for geotechnical exploration.

 

SHELBY COUNTY

I-240 from near SR-57 (Poplar Avenue) to near US-64 (US-70, SR-1 Summer Avenue)

 

Nightly 7 p.m. – 6 a.m. – There will be intermittent temporary lane closures for asphalt resurfacing activities. At least one lane in each direction to remain open at all times.

 

SHELBY COUNTY

 

SR-4 from South of Shelby Drive (L.M. 1.10) to the Raines/Perkins Road interchange (L.M. 3.50) – The following routes will be affected due to roadway widening activities along SR-4.

 

Affected Routes

 

·       Lamar Avenue (SR-4) Speed limit reduced from 55 mph to 45 mph from South of Shelby Drive to the Raines/Perkins Road interchange.

·       Shelby Drive (SR-175) Speed limit reduced from 45 mph to 35 mph at the intersection with Lamar Avenue (SR-4).

·       Pleasant Run Road Closed to thru traffic from Pleasant Hill Road. Pleasant Run Road is closed from Lamar Avenue (SR-4).

 

SHELBY COUNTY

 

SR385 Eastbound From Ridgeway Exit to Houston Levee Exit

 

Sunday, July 13 through Thursday, July 17, 8 P.M. to 6 A.M. – There will be temporary lane closures on I-240 in Eastbound for pothole patching.  One lane in each direction will remain open at all times.

 

SHELBY COUNTY

 

SR 1 (U.S. 51) Danny Thomas Boulevard from Poplar Avenue (L.M. 2.85) to Jackson Avenue (L.M. 3.47), Daily, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. – There will be temporary lane closures for ADA ramp construction and Traffic Signal installations. One or more lanes will remain open in both directions on (U.S. 51) Danny Thomas Boulevard at all times.

 

SHELBY COUNTY

 

SR 1 (U.S. 51) Danny Thomas Boulevard from Beale Street to Jefferson Avenue

 

Continuing through Friday, July 11 – There will be lane closures for Bridge Repair. One lane will remain open in both directions on (U.S. 51) Danny Thomas Boulevard at all times. The Monroe Avenue Bridge over Danny Thomas Boulevard will also be closed during this timeframe.

 

TIPTON COUNTY

 

US-51 (SR-3) from East Woodlawn Avenue to Winn Street – There will be temporary inside and outside lane closures on north and southbound US 51 from East Woodlawn Avenue to Winn Street DAILY to perform bridge repairs and resurfacing work. At least one lane in each direction will be open at all times.
