Richard Barber has been honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award from TAADAS (Tennessee Association of Alcohol, Drug, and other Addiction Services).

Richard has dedicated nearly 20 years to Aspell and has spent decades working in treatment before becoming its leader.

His unwavering commitment to helping those suffering from alcoholism, addiction, and co-occurring disorders is truly unparalleled.

Since 1986, Richard has been passionately giving back what was freely given to him – a life free from the grips of addiction.

On behalf of the Aspell Staff, Board, and our Community, we proudly celebrate Richard’s well-deserved award and are grateful to work alongside such an exceptional leader every day.
