The Jackson Beer Permit Board approved four requests during a meeting in the City Council Chambers at City Hall, Tuesday.
Jian Fei Liu was approved for a business known as Hana Sushi, 1363 University Drive, Suite H, for selling, storing and serving beer on the premises where sold.
Rihana Abdullahi was approved for a business known as Neighbor Food Mart, 1430 East Chester Street, for selling, storing and distributing beer for consumption off the premises.
Randy S. Hall was approved for a special occasion permit to sell, store and serve beer during the Jamie Johnson Concert, which will be held at the Carl Perkins Civic Center, Saturday.
The Beer Permit Board also approved a store manager change request for Food Giant, 2596 Christmasville Cove.
The meeting was the first for new Beer Board members Johnny Dodd, Russ McKelvey and Gary Pickens.
Johnny Dodd was selected as chairman.
