(April 7, 2014) JACKSON Tenn – A Jackson man has been arrested on a state arrest warrant for Aggravated Burglary. Charles Lee Cox, 51 was arrested on April 4th. On March 12th, 2014 the Jackson Police Department took a burglary report at a residence in the 800 block of Whitehall Street.
The resident reported that a rear window had been broken out and several items were stolen. Those items included televisions, furniture and appliances.
Investigators with the Jackson Police Department’s Burglary & Theft Unit investigated the case and developed Charles Lee Cox as a suspect. A warrant was obtained for his arrest and he was formally arraigned in Jackson City Court this morning via video link.
He is being held in the Madison County Criminal Justice Complex in lieu of a $30,000 bond. An additional suspect is believed to be involved in this case, but that person has not been identified.
