With assistance from the Tennessee Highway Patrol and barricades, North Highland Avenue is closed from Ridgecrest Road to Vann Drive, and will not reopen until 6 a.m., Monday.
The closure is due to road construction.
Vann Drive remains open.
At the overpass, motorists traveling east and west on Interstate 40 will exit the down ramp at North Highland Avenue and use an on ramp to continue.
