(March 6, 2014) Jackson, Tenn.- The Jackson Municipal Regional Planning Commission had their plate full with three pieces of business for one area of the city.
These three pieces of business were a subdivision construction plat, a final plat, and a site plan for Sandstone Village and Christmasville Road.
The construction plat review was for Phase 3A and 3B of Sandstone Village. The Board approved it with the conditions that the developer signs the Subdivision Contract, the City Development Permit, and paying the $50 City Development Permit.
The final plat review was also for Sandstone Village, this time for Phase 2, Section 3, Lot 2. It, like the plat before it, is zoned in an SC-1 zone, or Planned Unit Commercial Development.
The Phase 2 plat was approved with 3 conditions as well. The developer has to submit payments to JEA, a $1,200 Street Light Installation fee, and a $65,000 Street Performance Certificate of Deposit security.
The Site Plan for Christmasville Road is for the proposed Speedway Convenience Store. It will be located near the Sandstone Village developments.
The motion passed with 5 conditions. The developer has to sign off of the Off-Site Improvement Contract and complete a right turn lane and striped asphalt shoulder off -site improvement concurrent project construction.
Signage has to be reviewed and approved and site utilities also have to be reviewed and approved by JEA. Both will happen during permitting.
Finally, the Sandstone Village developer completes the construction of the Palms Pew access road.
