JACKSON, TN – West Tennessee Healthcare welcomes Ray Washington as the newest member of the Board of Trustees. Washington was recently appointed by the Madison County Commission to serve on the health system’s board.

Mr. Washington is currently the Chief Operations Officer of Fayette County Schools and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Virginia State University and a Master of Arts degree in Business Management from Webster University.

“We are pleased to welcome Mr. Washington to our board,” said James Ross, President, and CEO of West Tennessee Healthcare.

“His extensive experience and unique perspective will undoubtedly contribute to our ongoing efforts to fulfill our mission of improving the health and well-being of the communities we serve while providing exceptional and compassionate care. We look forward to working with him in his new role.”

Mr. Washington expressed his enthusiasm for joining the board by saying, “West Tennessee Healthcare is a vital part of our community, and I hope to be a positive influence on the continued success of the organization.”
