JACKSON Tenn (June 29, 2017) – Jackson Police say help from security cameras and assistance from the Madison County sheriff’s department has led to the arrest of two suspects and return of property.

52-year-old David Keith Lassiter and 24-year-old Thaddeus Ray are charged with Theft of Property.

According to police investigators, the manager of North Gate Storage reported the theft of a 20′ trailer stolen from the property. Security cameras captured photos of the suspect vehicle and two suspects.

Investigators later received information from the Madison County Sheriff’s Office regarding the arrest of two suspects, Lassiter and Ray in connection with another trailer theft.

According to court records, Lassiter gave a written statement admitting to the theft. The trailer was valued at over $8,000.

Lassiter is also charged in connection with a trailer theft from the Wal-Mart store on Emporium Drive which occurred in April.
