Randy Wallace not seeking re-election to Jackson City Council

Randy Wallace has announced that he is not seeking re-election for the Jackson City Council, District 7 position, May 7.

According to a press release, Wallace has served as Councilperson for District 7 for the last 12 years.

He also serves as Treasurer for the City.

Being a strong believer in term limits, Wallace feels it is time to let someone new take on this position.

He thinks that new ideas and a fresh prospective on the City Council will help keep the community growing in the right direction.

Wallace would like to encourage interested individuals who feel they can contribute to helping manage the future of the City to run for the office.

He has felt that serving on the City Council was a rewarding experience.

Randy is a CPA/PFS who specializes in financial planning and investment management. He is the owner of the firm of Wallace Wealth Management.

Wallace becomes the second councilperson since Dec. 18, 2018, to announce they will not seek re-election to the Jackson City Council.

Dr. Vicky Foote, Jackson City Councilwoman – District 1 – announced she is not running for re-election to the council, but is in an exploratory phase for the position of Mayor of the City of Jackson.
