
Madison County Republican Party Director Jay Bush tells WNWS Lt. Governor Ron Ramsey (R-Blountville) will be in Jackson on Monday campaigning with Ed Jackson, Republican candidate for State Senate in District 27.
Lt. Gov. Ramsey and Ed will be discussing the campaign and the importance of sending a conservative Republican voice for District 27 to Nashville.
State Sen. Brian Kelsey (R-Germantown) will be speaking on the importance of voting Yes on 3. Amendment 3 is a constitutional amendment on the ballot in November to ban an income tax in Tennessee forever.
Ed Jackson faces off against Democrat candidate Randy Lamb in the November General Election for the Senate 27th District seat. Democrat Lowe Finney decided not to seek a third term and instead is running for Jackson city mayor.
