JACKSON Tenn. (June 2, 2015) – Police received a tip that an resident of an apartment complex was growing marijuana in pots on a balcony. When police responded to 1585 Hollywood Drive they observed two potted plants in plain view on a balcony of the C building.
Officers say as they were exiting their car they saw Fredic Cole come out of an apartment and begin destroying plants. Cole was ordered to stop and complied with the officers instructions.
A search warrant was obtained and once in Cole’s apartment invetigators and in addition to the plant, according to offices, they collected a digital scale with marijuana residue, and other drug paraphernalia.
Investigators also say they found a plate with cocaine and .2 grams of cocaine in a freezer. A loaded .357 revolver was found behind a pillow on the living room couch
Fredric Cole facess multiple charges including, Drug Possession, Possession of a Firearm during Commission of a Felony, and possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
