Jackson police have filed charges on Jordan Curry, 18, of Jackson, in connection with the Memorial Day murder of Marketis Bailey, 22.
Curry was arrested around 2 a.m. Monday on unrelated charges. He
is scheduled to be formally arraigned Tuesday at 8 a.m. in Jackson
City Court on a charge of first degree murder.
RECAP:
On May 30 shortly after 2 p.m., Jackson police received a call of a
shooting. Officers arrived and found Bailey lying in the roadway in the
10 block of Holland Ave. He had been shot multiple times.
