Police Arrest Man for Child Rape
The Jackson Police Department was notified about a child sex abuse allegation. Police investigators and the Department of Children's Services conducted an investigation, which determined that a nine-year-old girl had been raped by Johnathon Henderson, 39, of Madison County. Henderson was arrested Thursday afternoon in the 400 block of Burkett Street. He was formally arraigned Monday morning in Jackson City Court on charges of two counts of rape of a child. He is being held at the Madison County Jail in lieu of $75,000 bond. His next scheduled court appearance is June 2 at 9:30 a.m. in Jackson City Court.
