After winning 37 straight football games and three straight TSSAA high school football titles, it should come as no surprise that Peabody finishes the 2020 season as the top-ranked team in the BAKER’S DOZEN coaches poll.
1) Peabody (14-0) – defeated Meigs County, 35-13, for the Class 2A state title, Saturday, Dec. 5
2) Milan (11-2) – lost to Alcoa, 35-0, in the Class 3A state championship game, Friday, Dec. 4
3) Haywood (10-4) – lost to Elizabethton, 41-14, in the Class 4A state championship game, Saturday, Dec. 5
4) USJ (10-3) – lost to Davidson Academy, 53-35, in the Division II-A state championship game, Thursday, December 10
